Issue Three-September/October 2002 ____
The Continental Divide by Lee
Asher - You spread the deck face up and show the cards are mixed. A moment
later you spread them again and the red and black cards have separated!
Exhibit "A" by David Regal - Sight
unseen, a red-backed card marked "Exhibit 'A'" is placed on the table. A
blue-backed card is freely selected and signed across the face, then
lost in the pack. The red-backed Exhibit "A" card is shown to be the
spectator's selection!
The King Is Gone But He's Not Forgotten
by Aaron Fisher - Aaron's handling of Bill Goodwin's "King Brand" from
Issue One, dispensing with the need for an extra card.
Palm Burst by Nathan Kranzo - The
magician displays a wrapped Starburst candy on the back of his hand.
Pressing down, he causes the candy to penetrate through his hand! He
then turns his hand palm up and the candy pentrates through the back of
his hand upward as well, visually appearing on his palm! A spectator
then presses on the candy and the wrapper collapses under their finger,
causing only the candy to pentrate through both the wrapper and the
magician's hand! Northern Light by J.K. Hartman - Mr. Hartman's excellent lesson in how to routine different preliminary "set-up tricks" and in the process satisfy even more convincing conditions.
